What kinds of birds do you see in your backyard?

According to this website, http://wildlifeofct.com./birds.html, at least 400 different types of birds live or travel through Connecticut.  The website has phones of many of them and audio of some night owls.

Information about endangered species can be found here: https://portal.ct.gov/DEEP/Endangered-Species/Endangered-Species

What plants provide attractive food sources for birds, as well as good nesting sites?

The Audubon Society provides information on native plants that support local birds, here. They also offer a series of interesting webinars.  So check out their offerings at audubon.org.
